Porch, what a beautiful place to spent a memorable evening

You need a porch to make a house a home. Whether it is for reading, spending a lazy afternoon or some R and R with the family, anything else cannot provide the comfort like a porch.

Your porch can be the point that your home transition to the outside. It is the place during hot summer months to get some air as well as spend time with the family. So, make it cozy for everyone in the family including your dog. Leave couple of chairs to sit down, plant some flowering bushes around it to add color and brightness, and add a table that can double as holding many outdoor utensils during a function.

A porch can be located front, back or side of the home. It usually provides a view whether it is a panoramic view or view of your swimming pool. Make sure to enhance the view without blocking it. Depending on the view, you can pick furniture for the space to make it a unique place. Consider light weight wicker with a metal and glass table or go with ceramic garden stools. Some even add a swing to give it a more traditional look.
